A Year of Zen – Book illustrations

Written by Bonnie Myotai Treace, A Year of Zen is illustrated delicately with nature inspired artworks.

The wellbeing book guides the reader through fifty two weeks of journal prompts aimed to inspire self-exploration, reflection, and mindfulness. Combining the practice of Zen Buddhism with journaling, the book helps to open your mind to a happier more fulfilling life. I was commissioned to produce the interior illustrations with a variety of flowers, branches, seeds, birds, and different nature and zen-inspired objects, all created with ink and watercolour.

Cultivating Calm – Book Cover and Interior illustrations

I was commissioned by Callisto publishing house to create soothing line works for a new book – Cultivating Calm: An Anxiety Journal.

The self-help book is full of practical writing prompts, strategies, and meditations. Designed to help the reader get back to their true self, its publication is timely and can help one feel back like their true self.

The cover and internal illustrations are delicate in their feel and produced in this way to reflect the mood of the book.

Lubex’s Charlotte

My latest collaboration with Swiss beauty company Lubex Anti-age on some characters for their latest brochure.

Lubex specialize in dermatological anti-aging products and reached out to work on characters for their branding strategy. As a result we brought to life the Lubex’s Charlotte – Lubex’s radiant muse, among others, who can be seen in their latest brochure and and will be part of their story-telling on ‘secrets for healthy and radiant skin’.

The Launch of Eau Capitale

I was invited to create live art for the launch of Diptyque’s newest fragrance.

Attended few NYC events for the launch, one at La Mercerie; their boutique on Bleecker St and their boutique on Madison Avenue. Whilst the guests enjoyed French treats and champagne in a wonderful ambience of Parisian-like flowers and 3D paper monuments of  landmarks, I drew portraits live of the customers surrounded by the beautiful scent of Eau Capitale.

A Watercolor Morning With Chloé

I collaborated with MKG Creative Agency and Chloe for the launch of its new fragrance L’eau.

I was asked to teach sessions of watercolor workshop for the beauty launch of Chloe’s new fragrance to Influencers and Beauty Editors.

The event took place in a beautiful brownstone Parisian inspired apartment in the heart of Chelsea where the guests took part in a short workshop where they learned how to paint with watercolors scented with the main accords of the perfume, rose and magnolia, to create a sensory journey.

The response was incredibly positive. Immersed in the delicate scents, surrounded by ravishing flower arrangements on each corner…  the attendees loved connecting with their creativity and discovering watercolor techniques while experiencing the new fragrance.

All guests left the workshop with a bottle of Chloé L’eau fragrance and their piece of art.

Bespoke Live Illustration by Veronica Collignon

When fashion and beauty brands seek to engage with their customers in a more personal and meaningful way, they invite me to draw live for their guests. Whether it’s the launch of a new collection, a special promotion, PR briefing or VIP party

There’s a New Girl in Town

California based apparel company “Rappi Palm Springs” commissioned me to work on a character called Rappi; a lighthearted, fashionable and passionate girl excited about everything Palm Springs has to offer. Rappi is featured on each t-shirt in the collections showcasing the Palm Springs lifestyle, with new tees available each month as Rappi engages in all Palm Springs happenings. See them here.

Drawing Live for Wines of Provence “Iconic Panel” in New York.

I was invited by Wines Of Provence to paint live at their  Iconic Panel in New York.

As part of the activation event, Wines of Provence displayed a beautiful mural with the illustration series we have worked together on, then I re-created a part of the illustration live whilst guests sampled the wine and socialized at The Museum of Arts & Design. It was quite breath-taking to see my work reproduced so big.

The experience, the fabulous wine, the venue, the decoration and ambience, everything was just perfect.
